Polishing incorporates many steps. The number of which is determined by the product itself. Some steps are listed below but not limited to:
Cleaning and Degreasing
Removal of all foreign material from surface
Repair of Holes, Bends, Twists and Dents
Further prepares surface for polishing by:

Straighten and level any imperfections in surface
Grinding
Removal of large surface imperfections
